Mr Sanno made these remarks in an audio obtained by this medium.

It could be recalled that; the Capital, Banjul experienced flash floods two weeks ago which displaced dozens of families and destroyed valuable house materials in the city.

The flash floods were attributed to poor drainage system in some quarters;  while some blamed the Banjul Rehabilitation Projects contractor,

Hadim Gai for inefficient works.

Mr Sanno, if the waste from the Capital is well managed and collected regularly by the Council, this current situation would have been avoided.

He said the President invested heavily in Banjul but the Council isn’t delivering to expectations in terms of services.
