In the wake of his controversial stance on the anti-FGM repeal bill, Gambians are cautioning Deputy Speaker Njie against making reckless statements on moral issues.
Sulayman Dampha, a resident of Bundung, expressed dismay over Hon Njie’s role in opposing the repeal bill, stating that NPP parliamentarians, including Njie, took a lead that seemed contradictory to their previous accusations of political motives against the ‘Women Right Matters’ group.
